This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines prohibited activities and behaviors on the Hire Omics platform (hire-omics.com). This policy applies to all users, including job candidates, employers, and visitors.
By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account, removal of content, legal action, and/or reporting to law enforcement.
1. General Principles
Users of Hire Omics must:
- Use the Platform in a lawful, ethical, and respectful manner
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Respect the rights and privacy of others
- Comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws
- Use the Platform solely for legitimate employment-related purposes
2. Prohibited Content
You may not post, upload, or transmit content that:
A. Illegal or Harmful Content
- Violates any law or regulation
- Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content exploiting minors
- Promotes terrorism or violent extremism
- Facilitates human trafficking or exploitation
B. Fraudulent or Deceptive Content
- Contains false, misleading, or deceptive information
- Misrepresents your identity, affiliation, or credentials
- Contains fraudulent job postings or "work from home" scams
- Promotes pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or similar schemes
- Impersonates another person or entity
C. Discriminatory Content
- Discriminates based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or other protected characteristics
- Violates federal, state, or local employment discrimination laws
- Contains job postings that illegally exclude protected classes
D. Harmful or Offensive Content
- Contains hate speech or promotes violence against individuals or groups
- Harasses, threatens, bullies, or intimidates others
- Contains graphic violence or gore
- Is sexually explicit or pornographic
- Promotes self-harm or suicide
E. Intellectual Property Violations
- Infringes on copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights
- Uses others' logos, branding, or materials without permission
- Contains plagiarized content
F. Spam and Unsolicited Content
- Constitutes spam, junk mail, or unsolicited advertising
- Contains repetitive or irrelevant content
- Promotes unrelated products or services
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not engage in activities that:
A. Data Harvesting and Scraping
- Scrape, harvest, or collect candidate data, resumes, or job postings
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or extract Platform data
- Download or copy large amounts of content systematically
- Use Platform data for purposes other than legitimate employment recruitment
- Build databases or competing services using Platform data
- Use automated scraping tools, browser automation, AI agents, or data extraction tools to systematically collect Platform data
B. Unauthorized Access
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or networks
- Bypass security measures or authentication mechanisms
- Access or attempt to access restricted areas of the Platform
- Use another user's account without permission
- Share login credentials with others
C. Platform Disruption
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Transmit harmful code (viruses, malware, worms, trojans)
- Overload or attempt to overload Platform infrastructure (DDoS attacks)
- Circumvent rate limits or technical restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Platform code
D. Misuse of Platform Features
- Create multiple or fake accounts to evade restrictions
- Manipulate search rankings or visibility through artificial means
- Abuse reporting or flagging mechanisms
- Use the Platform for non-employment purposes (e.g., dating, social networking)
- Post job listings for positions that don't actually exist
- Use candidate information to build external resume databases or talent pools outside the Hire Omics platform
E. Privacy Violations
- Collect or disclose others' personal information without consent
- Use candidate information for purposes other than recruitment
- Share, sell, or distribute candidate data to third parties
- Contact candidates for non-employment purposes (e.g., sales, marketing)
- Publicly share private messages or communications
4. Employer-Specific Prohibitions
Employers and recruiters may not:
A. Fraudulent Job Postings
- Post fake job listings to collect resumes or data
- Misrepresent job titles, compensation, or responsibilities
- Post "phantom jobs" that aren't actually available
- Use job postings to advertise products or services
- Request payment or fees from candidates for job opportunities
B. Discriminatory Hiring Practices
- Post job listings that discriminate against protected classes
- Use language that excludes protected groups (e.g., "recent graduates only," "digital natives")
- Request illegal information in job applications (e.g., age, marital status, health information)
- Conduct background checks without proper authorization and disclosure
C. Misuse of Candidate Information
- Download resumes without an active subscription
- Use candidate information for marketing or sales purposes
- Share candidate data with third parties without consent
- Contact candidates for opportunities unrelated to their profile
- Retain candidate data longer than necessary for recruitment purposes
D. Platform Abuse
- Create multiple employer accounts to circumvent subscription limits
- Share subscription access with unauthorized parties
- Post duplicate job listings to gain unfair visibility
- Manipulate job posting rankings or placement
5. Candidate-Specific Prohibitions
Candidates may not:
- Create multiple profiles to circumvent Platform rules
- Upload resumes or profiles containing false information
- Upload resumes on behalf of others without permission
- Use the Platform to solicit business or promote services
- Submit spam applications to multiple employers
- Use offensive or inappropriate profile content
- Upload resumes containing malware or malicious code
6. Enforcement and Consequences
Hire Omics reserves the right to investigate and take action against violations of this Acceptable Use Policy.
Actions We May Take:
Content Removal:
- Remove prohibited content, job postings, or profiles
- Redact or edit content that violates this policy
Account Restrictions:
- Issue warnings to users
- Temporarily suspend accounts pending investigation
- Permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations
Legal Action:
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement
- Cooperate with legal investigations
- Pursue civil or criminal remedies for damages
Access Restrictions:
- Block IP addresses or devices from accessing the Platform
- Refuse service to users who violate this policy
Factors Considered:
- Severity of the violation
- Whether the violation was intentional or accidental
- Prior violations or warnings
- Impact on other users or the Platform
- Legal requirements
7. Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it:

False Reports:Submitting false or malicious reports may result in action against your account.
8. User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for:
- Reviewing and complying with this AUP
- Monitoring their account activity
- Reporting violations they encounter
- Understanding that they are liable for their actions on the Platform
- Ensuring that anyone accessing the Platform through their account complies with this AUP
9. Compliance with Laws
In addition to this AUP, users must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

- Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA)
- Equal Pay Act
- State and local anti-discrimination laws
Privacy Laws:
- California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (if applicable)
- State data breach notification laws
Other Laws:
- Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA)
- Copyright law (DMCA)
- CAN-SPAM Act
- Export control laws
10. Third-Party Services
If you use third-party tools or services in connection with the Platform (e.g., resume parsers, applicant tracking systems), you are responsible for ensuring they comply with this AUP and applicable laws.
11. No Unlawful or Unauthorized Use
The Platform is provided for lawful purposes only. You may not use the Platform:
- In any way that violates federal, state, local, or international law
- To engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use of the Platform
- To transmit any advertising or promotional material without our consent
12. Changes to This Policy
We may modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
You are responsible for reviewing this AUP periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
13. Interpretation
